A few of you have commented and wondered why the STS isn’t up.  It’s still here, sitting next to me.  It’s currently turned off though.  I had a few technical issues and have not had a chance to get back to it.  It’s not easy connecting a legacy system up to the internet.  Especially when I no longer have the 2.0 software for the system.  I rellally need to get ahold of the source code for the system inorder to make some modifications to make it work well over tcpip.  From what I understand, the origianl authors are not willing to part with it.

I will get back to putting it online kludged together in the coming weeks, with any luck.

Until then, let me point all of you old DDialer and STS folks to the following two running systems:

http://thesavagefrontier.com – The Savage Frontier running the original DDIAL software, always online.  I am user 017 over here.

telnet://thests.com – An STS clone.  Again, always running. I am user 917 on that system.
